Amy Fawcett is the woman behind home sewn, a custom-made home decor studio. She runs her textile empire from her Portland, OR home. A mother of (almost) two teenagers, Amy is enjoying how this time of parenthood has allowed her to refocus her energy. Find her passion. It all started with a need to find just the right pillows for her new couch. Unable to get exactly what she wanted, Amy decided to make them herself. 100+ pillows, cushions, roman shades later she was hooked and home sewn was born.
Amy loves the challenge of learning new things and attending to the details that make her work stand out from the mass-produced. But most of all, she loves seeing the effect of her work in clients' homes, transforming their room into a space in which they want to linger longer.
